Once accepted into the School of Cytotechnology program, students will enroll as a special student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Tuition will be paid directly to UW-Madison and follow resident or nonresident undergraduate tuition rates.

Students who have received a bachelor's degree will be able to enroll as an undergraduate in the certificate program at UW-Madison and follow undergraduate tuition rates.

Students enrolled in the 3+1 program through an affiliated college or university may obtain tuition information at the affiliated institution or through the program and enrol under the consortium program with UW-Madison.

International students requiring visas will need to contact the program as well as the international student office prior to enrolling as a special student. International students will be required to pay tuition at the nonresident rate.

ESTIMATED COST OF LIVING WHILE ENROLLED IN THE CYTOTECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

Students enrolled in the Cytotechnology program will be living in Madison and need at least a full years lease on an apartment.  Coursework will require full-time enrollment for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. 

  • Estimated cost of living for the full year include:  full-time tuition for fall, spring, and summer; room and board; books and other supplies; and miscellaneous and personal expenses such as travel, clothing, and recreation.
  • Cost of living expenses for a Wisconsin resident enrolled in the Cytotechnology program are estimated at $26,000 for the year.

Accepted students must have evidence of health insurance or must enroll in University Health Services at an additional cost.
