Summary I am primarily interested in environmental chemistry as it relates to surface water and drinking water quality. I have been actively involved in developing the facilities and instrumental capabilities to detect environmental pollutants at very low levels to support the programs and research of the University of Wisconsin, governmental agencies in Wisconsin and Midwest states. At the WSLH, we currently have the ability to measure trace metals at the ppt level and mercury well below a ppt. We are currently researching new techniques for measuring ultra-low levels of metals in fine-air particulates. Return to EHD Researcher Biographies
