The Organic Chemistry Department is currently only accepting water samples from facilities that are regulated under the SDWA for atrazine, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) and haloacetic acids (HAAs). Environmental Proctection Agency (EPA) method 507 is used for testing atrazine, EPA method 524.2 is used for VOCs, and EPA method 552.2 is used for HAAs. We cannot accept samples from the general public. (See FAQ). The WSLH receives its SDWA certification from the EPA. We must undergo a rigorous audit process periodically.
