The WSLH performs various analytical tests on soil and sediment samples. We test for a number of parameters, including diesel range organics (DRO), volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), semi-volatile organic chemicals (priority pollutants), total organic carbon (TOC), Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) organochlorine pesticides and TCLP. Generally the testing falls into one of three categories - acute environmental spills, leaking storage tanks or accumulated sedimentary contamination.
