Research Activities

The laboratory is involved in a variety of internally and externally funded projects including development of monoclonal antibodies to anatoxin A, improving methods to detect Mycobacterium avium complex organisms in finished water and biofilms, pathogen removal and inactivation studies, evaluation of products and reagents to detect environmental pathogens, pathogen surveillance studies, and improvement of methods to detect waterborne pathogens.
