WSLH Discontinues Prenatal Testing Panels

MADISON, Wis. – The WSLH constantly strives to offer the highest quality laboratory services based on customer need. Because the volume of prenatal testing panels has dramatically diminished over the past few years the WSLH has decided to discontinue prenatal screening testing (panels 1440, 1441, 1442, 1443) at this time. Thus, effective January 1, 2007, Prenatal Screening Panel testing will be discontinued at the WSLH. However, the WSLH will continue to provide HIV, Hepatitis, Syphilis, and Rubella testing on an individual test basis.

We appreciate your utilization of the WSLH as a primary and referral testing laboratory for all other tests and procedures and sincerely hope that this decision will not inconvenience you or your patients. The Prenatal Screening panels are available from other reference laboratories throughout the United States.

If you have any questions ranging from finding alternate test providers to establishing this testing in your facility, please contact us at (608) 262-6386.
