Webcast: Detecting Genomic Imbalances in Stillborn Infants

MADISON – Dr. Gordana Raca, WSLH Cytogenetics Director and University of Wisconsin-Madison Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, discusses her research results on the use of cutting-edge microarray technology to detect subtle genomic imbalances in stillborn infants that might otherwise be undetectable by traditional testing methods. Array comparative genomic hybridization testing technology has only recently started to be used in prenatal cytogentics. Dr. Raca collaborated on this research with the Wisconsin Stillbirth Service Program.

This session was held in October 2008 for WSLH staff.
