Description:

This one day session is being coordinated by the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene for Wisconsin clinical laboratory professionals. The conference will provide an opportunity for participants to learn which molecular diagnostic methods are being used by clinical laboratories in Wisconsin.  In addition, presentations on the upcoming influenza season and test validation guidelines and a discussion of regulatory issues will be included.    

Target Audience: This conference is intended for laboratory professionals currently working in a Wisconsin laboratory that provides diagnostic testing.  Laboratorians who want to learn about molecular testing at other diagnostic laboratories in Wisconsin will especially benefit from attending.

Product vendors have not been invited to this conference; commercial product solicitation or demonstration will not be included.

Fee: This conference (including breaks and meals) is offered at no charge to participants. Funding was provided in part by a CDC grant.
