ELECTRONIC OPTIONS

WSLH PT customers currently have a number of options for electronic communication.  Features are listed below.  Please follow the appropriate links to download and e-mail or fax the request form.

Online Accounts

WSLH PT customers can request a portal account to give them secure access to the options listed below for their SL# . Technical consultants, managers, POCT coordinators, etc., can request multi-site access for these options.

Reports Catalog

• Reports containing scored data, statistics and event notes are available online the same day they are released for printing.
• Ability to view, download and/or print more than two calendar years of reports for most specialties and five years for immunohematology.

Results Entry

• Two permission levels:
• Entry person – ability to enter, edit and lock results for approval by submitter.
• Submitter – ability to view, enter, edit, approve and submit results.
• Verification of demographic and accreditation information.
• Status levels displayed to assist customers in tracking the progress of result entry.
• Ability to report results for more than one instrument or method and designate the primary result set.
• Analyte and method information pre-populated from customer’s test menu in text instead of numeric codes.
• Ability to add or remove analytes and modify method information per result set.
• Ability to tie analyst and testing location to specific results.
• Analyst information automatically added to attestation page.
• Ability to print all pending and submitted results and the attestation page.
• Results are accessible for two calendar years for most specialties and five years for immunohematology. 

Online competency and training available through a WSLH PTPlus account for proficiency testing customers:

• Cost effective Training Library, Lab Competency and PPMP Competency product lines.
• P.A.C.E credits
• Mix and match modules for small labs or POCT sites.   Purchase an entire line or lines for larger labs.
• Competency module challenges change every 6 months
• Training Library can be used to establish baselines for new employees, cross-training or as a corrective action for failed competencies. 
   

WSLH PT communication via e-mail:

• Notification of shipment en route after PT packages have been released to couriers.
• Notification if data has not been received several days prior to the date results are due.
• Notification when new reports have been released and are available online by using your portal account
• Delivery of PT reports (scored data/statistics/event notes) as PDF attachments at time of release.  “E-reports” arrive up to a week sooner than hard copy.
• Paper reports will continue to be sent until we are advised by accreditation bodies that electronic recordkeeping is an acceptable alternative.
