DESCRIPTION:Forecasting the Emerging Technologies of the Laboratory of the Future\nPresenter: \n\nNathan Ledeboer\, Ph.D.\, D(ABMM)\, Professor and Vice Chair\, Department of Pathology\, Medical College of Wisconsin\n\nDescription of Session: \nThis session will review the application of digital imaging\, next generation sequencing\, and host response diagnostics and the impact of these technologies in the microbiology laboratory of tomorrow.  Specifically\, this webinar will explore how these technologies may be employed in academic and community hospitals laboratories for the diagnosis of infectious diseases. \n  \nA certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit. \nThis program is sponsored by the WSLH\, which is an approved provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. program. \nAs part of the new P.A.C.E. continuing education process\, please go to the ASCLS CE Organizer web site to print your P.A.C.E. certificates.
