We will provide a review of what we found and learned from our 2022-2023 WSLH surveillance program. We will share how the rapid integration of sequencing technologies in public health laboratories is benefiting public health. We will share new recommended strategies for testing and combating Hepatitis C infections. You will be updated on our battle against antibiotic resistance in WI. You will learn more about the pathogens that have kept us busy this past year and which ones we are watching as the possible next threat to public health. We will discuss how the taxonomic name change of Ochrobactrum to Brucella impacts rule-out testing for possible bio-threat agents.
