DESCRIPTION:Data Goldmine: Maximizing Insight from WCLN Surveillance Data\n  \nPresenters: \n\nMatthew Martin\, Ph.D.\, is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Laboratory Leadership Service (LLS) Fellowship employee working with the Communicable Disease Division at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene.\nAnnie Sanchez\, Ph.D.\, is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Laboratory Leadership Service (LLS) Fellowship employee working with the Communicable Disease Division at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene.\n\nDescription of Session: \nThe Wisconsin Clinical Laboratory Network (WCLN) provides an incredible amount of data for surveillance efforts in Wisconsin. This webinar will highlight how surveillance data submitted to the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH) from clinical laboratory partners is currently used and how it could be used additionally to inform decisions on instrument utilization. The speakers will share analysis they have conducted as CDC LLS fellows at WSLH to investigate the impact of culture independent diagnostic test use in diagnosis and surveillance. \n  \nA certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit. \nThis program is sponsored by the WSLH\, which is an approved provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. program. \nAs part of the new P.A.C.E. continuing education process\, please go to the ASCLS CE Organizer web site to print your P.A.C.E. certificates. You will search for the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene programs under the “Other P.A.C.E. Programs” tab on the ASCLS CE Organizer web site. You will be asked for a code number to print the certificate. We will provide you this number during the webinar. \nPlease note that the deadline for receiving P.A.C.E. education credit for this webinar is March 20th\, 2025.\n \nMaterials:\n\n Data Goldmine: Maximizing Insight from WCLN Surveillance Data – Presentation\nWCLN Webinar – Data Goldmine: Maximizing Insight from WCLN Surveillance Data
