DESCRIPTION:2025-2026 Respiratory Virus Surveillance Update\n  \nPresenters: \n\nAllen Bateman\, Ph.D.\, D(ABMM)\, Director of Communicable Disease Division\, Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene\nErika Hanson\, MS\, Microbiologist III\, Virology Team Lead\, Communicable Disease Division\, Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene\n\nDescription of Session: \nThis webinar will provide a review of the 2024-2025 respiratory virus season and will highlight our surveillance strategies and challenges for 2025-2026\, based on our expectations\, for the upcoming respiratory virus season. \nAdditional topics that will be discussed include updates on H5N1 avian influenza\, updates on state and national data dashboards\, and updates on other respiratory virus activity and surveillance programs. \n  \nA certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit. \nThis program is sponsored by the WSLH\, which is an approved provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. program. \nAs part of the new P.A.C.E. continuing education process\, please go to the ASCLS CE Organizer web site to print your P.A.C.E. certificates.
