Ann Misch\, MD\, Faculty\, Division of Infectious Disease\, University of Wisconsin-Madison\nDonald Busalacchi\, BS\, Microbiologist\, Mycobacteriology Laboratory\, Communicable Disease Division\, WSLH\nByron Barksdale\, MD\, Resident\, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine\, UW Hospital & Clinics\nJulia Greenleaf\, RN\, Public Health Nurse\, Public Health Madison and Dane County\nPhilip Wegner\, RN\, MPH\, TB Nurse Consultant\, Tuberculosis Program\, Wisconsin Division of Public Health\nSuzanne Gibbons-Burgener\, DVM\, PhD\, Infectious Disease Epidemiologist\, Wisconsin Division of Public Health\nKate Louther\, RN\, MS\, Public Health Supervisor\, Public Health Madison and Dane County\n\nDescription of Session: \nThe Wisconsin Mycobacteriology Laboratory Network (WMLN) was formed to ensure consistent\, high-quality laboratory services in support of the prevention and control of tuberculosis.  The annual conference is a forum for participants to share information and discuss issues related to maintaining state-wide excellence in mycobacteriology testing.  Topics of discussion will include a WI TB Program update\, contact investigations\, agricultural TB screening and case study\, TB elimination in the Marshall Islands\, laboratory testing method updates and case studies. \nA certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 5.5 contact hours of instruction toward credit. \nThis program is co-sponsored by ASCLS-WI which is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. program. \nAs part of the new P.A.C.E. continuing education process\, please go to the ASCLS CE Organizer web site to print your P.A.C.E. certificates. You will be asked for a code number to print the certificate.
