DESCRIPTION:2024 Updates to CLSI M100\n  \nPresenter: \n\nErik Munson\, PhD\, D(ABMM)\, is an Assistant Professor at Marquette University in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science and a member of the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene Laboratory Technical Advisory Group\n\nDescription of Session: \nThe Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) updates the “Performance Standards for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing” annually.  It is essential for laboratories to keep up with these annual changes. Dr. Munson will discuss the major changes made to the 2024 M100 34th edition document. \n  \nA certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit. \nThis program is sponsored by the WSLH\, which is an approved provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. program. \nAs part of the new P.A.C.E. continuing education process\, please go to the ASCLS CE Organizer web site to print your P.A.C.E. certificates. You will search for the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene programs under the “Other P.A.C.E. Programs” tab on the ASCLS CE Organizer web site. You will be asked for a code number to print the certificate.
