DESCRIPTION:Common Regulatory Inspection Deficiencies – How Do I Avoid Them and What Do I Do if I Receive One?\nPresenter: \n\nStacy Meyer\, MLS(ASCP)\, CPP(AACC)\, Technical Process Analyst\, The College of American Pathologists\n\nDescription of Session: \nThere are various regulatory agencies that may inspect and accredit laboratory performance and compliance with regulations; however\, the list of common deficiencies is similar amongst all the inspecting agencies. This webinar will discuss those most common deficiencies and what to do if your laboratory receives a deficiency. The speaker will also discuss how to prepare effectively for inspections to avoid receiving those common deficiencies. The format of the webinar will be a question and answer style format with members of LabTAG asking questions that the speaker will in turn respond to. Time will be allowed at the end of the webinar for the audience to participate and ask the speaker questions. \n  \nA certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit. \nThis program is co-sponsored by ASCLS-WI which is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. program. \nAs part of the new P.A.C.E. continuing education process\, please go to the ASCLS CE Organizer web site to print your P.A.C.E. certificates.
