Monkeypox Update

Presenter:

• Alana Sterkel, PhD, D(ABMM), SM(ASCP)^CM,  is the Associate Director of the Communicable Disease Division at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene

Description of Session:

Dr. Sterkel will provide a situational update on the Monkeypox outbreak. Discussion will include the risk factors for disease, testing options, and information on how to test at the WI State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH).

A certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit.

This program is co-sponsored by ASCLS-WI which is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. program.
