Water System Testing: Lead and Copper

Owners of water systems serving the public are required to submit samples for lead and copper testing to comply with federal Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) amendments.

  • lead and copper
  • water quality parameters, including pH, conductivity, calcium, alkalinity, orthophosphate (when inhibitors containing a phosphate component are used) and silica (when inhibitors containing a silicate compound are used)
