Lt. Dee Dee Downie spoke to WSLH staff recently about the challenges and successes of her 2 deployments to Liberia to battle the Ebola virus.
Lt. Downie is a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service and serves as the CDC Public Health Advisor to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ Office of Preparedness and Emergency Health Care.
