Description of Session:

This webinar will relate the molecular biology of HPV infection to the clinical and cytologic findings of cervical precancerous lesions. The role of HPV testing in cervical cancer screening guidelines will be discussed. Pitfalls in HPV testing and potential solutions will be presented. Future directions for cervical screening in the clinical laboratory will be explored.

A certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit.
