Description of Session:
This one day conference will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about current trends in clinical and public health virology. Topics which will be discussed include emergence of avian influenza in domestic poultry, Ebola virus laboratory preparedness, influenza vaccine efficacy, Rabies virus surveillance, school-based respiratory virus surveillance and potential impacts from the emergence of Chikungunya and Dengue virus in the US. The conference will provide attendees an opportunity to learn about viruses of clinical and public health importance and to network with other clinical virologists and molecular biologist in Wisconsin.
